Our Mission

We seek to preserve, protect, and enhance the ecological integrity of historic 60-acre Timber Lake in Central Virginia. We are dedicated to preserving the lake's natural environment through proactive stewardship, educational initiatives, and community engagement. We are committed to the protection and conservation of the diverse flora and fauna that thrive in and around the lake. Additionally, we seek to ensure the safety and well-being of downstream communities by maintaining and monitoring the dam that impounds the lake. By promoting sustainable practices, environmental education, and active conservation efforts, we aim to foster a harmonious relationship between people and nature, ensuring this vital resource and its ecosystems are safeguarded for future generations.
